I've often discussed, both on this blog and in my (aptly named) new ebook Secrets of the Capsule Wardrobe, the TOP SECRET to creating an easy, effective Capsule Wardrobe that won't end up boring you is... say it with me now!
You've gotta BALANCE your BASES!
And if you're confused right now, just refer back to the previously mentioned ebook or blog post. ;)
Since we're now looking at a shift in seasons, I thought it would work nicely to highlight some of the autumn- and winter-friendly bases you can incorporate into a cold-weather wardrobe, allowing yourself the most flexibility in building different outfit "looks."
Remember, the more variety you allow yourself in terms of silhouette and style, the less likely you'll be to get bored with your capsule wardrobe! "Capsule" is NOT code for boring! Try out something new... decide for yourself what looks good and feels comfy... there are NO rules except for the ones you choose to follow. Which means there can be no rules at all! ;)
