Here is a sample Capsule Wardrobe that I'm going to call "Cozy Winter Symphony in Olive and Burgundy." I chose to limit the bases to navy and grey, and stayed with cream for my top-layering to achieve ultimate mix-and-match outfit options. Not including the "extras" I included just for fun -- the two coats, tights, boots, and cute socks to peek over the top of the boots, either over the tights or on their own -- this wardrobe includes 19 items that can be combined for 60+ outfits. If you're confused about any of that, check out my ebook Secrets of the Capsule Wardrobe for the scoop on the importance of "balancing your bases," how to be strategic with color choice, and, most importantly, how to find your personal style and curate your closet into a collection that you really love!
And stay posted next week for a plus-size winter capsule for all the gorgeous curvy ladies out there!! I haven't forgotten y'all either. ;)
There are shop-able links below, but since they will eventually go out of stock and be updated with new items, here is a permanent image of the original wardrobe inspiration as well. Happy shopping!
