#FridayFrivolity - Cow Funnies!! Funny and Cute Cow Memes for Cow Appreciation Day

Hello, Friday, and hello friends!

I've been a little off-radar lately, dealing with getting back into the swing of reality after two weeks of vacation fun, working on unpacking and settling into a new city, dealing with insurance stuff and getting our car fixed after the break-in last week... not to mention the general awfulness every time I turn on the news.  :(

Ugh.  Reality is lame, y'all!

In honor of cow appreciation day tomorrow, let's have a few laughs and try to focus on what is good, and beautiful, and funny instead!

...like the sweetest, cuddliest cow ever!

Or, on the flip side, the sketchiest cow ever...

Don't quit your Day-Dream, Bessie!!  The world is your oyster, girl.

Now on to the link-up! :D

Friday Frivolity Superbowl / Football Memes Edition! (Sort of, Not Really... ;P) Plus the Friday Frivolity LINKY PARTY - the blog link-up for all things Fun, Funny, Happy, and Hopeful!

Featured Post from Last Week:
In a fun twist, since we now have four hosts we will also have FOUR FEATURES.... but you will have to go check out the other three blogs to see if you were featured there!  ;)

As promised, I have LOTS of features this week, to make up for my lack of feature lately!

First off, my pal Erin over at Stay at Home Yogi, with her post Welcome to the Summer of Self Love.  Erin is an awesome, honest blogger, and I love her passion for making life better and prioritizing the things she values.  I hope this summer is one of health, growth and joy for her!

Oh. my. goodness.  This collection of hilarious British TV commercials courtesy of Jess over at Babi a Fi had me laughing out loud!  Do yourself a favor and go over and have some laughs... and find out something unusual about a certain old fashioned name that means something awkward in the UK (well, it sort of does in the US too, but it's awkwarder in the UK for sure...) while you're at it.  ;P

Patrick over at Adventures in Weseland always has such fascinating photos of the events he attends and the places he travels -- I really enjoyed his post entitled Downtown Hayward Summer Street Party.  It looks like it was a blast, with lots of great people-watching!

Audrey at Munofore's A Gardener's Midsummer Nightmare is hysterical!  All the gardeners out there are sure to relate to her vehement confrontation with "the scourge of tomato gardeners everywhere: Manduca quinquemaculata"!!

The Hosts:

Friday Frivolity Host Sarah Eliza from Devastate Boredom

Sarah Eliza is on a mission to Devastate Boredom by living a life full of all of her favorite things... friendship and connection, laughter, books and music, furbaby love, minimalism, wellness pursuits, Paleo-ish cooking, and on and on!  Curious about how to create a capsule wardrobe without losing your mind??  Check out her series here!

Host, Lisa, Friday Frivolity Superbowl / Football Memes Edition! (Sort of, Not Really... ;P) Plus the Friday Frivolity LINKY PARTY - the blog link-up for all things Fun, Funny, Happy, and Hopeful!
Facebook // Twitter //Pinterest // Google+  // Bloglovin

Lisa is an awesomely hilarious and authentic writer who marches to her own drum on her blog Syncopated Mama, providing an "un-labelly spot" for all the happily off-beat folks out there who have been wishing to find kindred spirits.  She shares her adventures building a natural home, teaching her adorbs daughter, establishing and refining positive communication skills, camping, creating, cooking, and so much more!  If you have preschoolers at home you have GOT to check out her awesome series, Latticed Learning, full of fantastic lesson ideas, book suggestions, craft plans, and more!

Host, Audrey, Friday Frivolity Superbowl / Football Memes Edition! (Sort of, Not Really... ;P) Plus the Friday Frivolity LINKY PARTY - the blog link-up for all things Fun, Funny, Happy, and Hopeful!

Audrey is a wonderfully eclectic blogger, who not only can cook up a storm over on That Recipe, but also writes at Munofore - "MUsings NOt FOod RElated."  Munofore touches on humor, parenting, crafting, holiday ideas, tutorials, and more!  She has an AMAZING tutorial up right now on creating your very own mixed-media, Asian-inspired wall art!  I'm definitely going to be trying this project myself as soon as I move... so gorgeous!

Jessica is an amazingly funny and smart blogger from Wales who writes at Babi a Fi on a whole range of topics -- from entertaining vintage nostalgia, to technology tutorials, to book reviews, to raising her adorable munchkin, and so much more!  If you have a blog, you have GOT to check out her most recent post, "10 Things Every Blogger Should Know About Linked-In" -- so much helpful information!

Calling all bloggers looking for an upbeat and supportive group of pals to join in hosting the weekly #FridayFrivolity par-tay!  We are hoping to add to our ranks of dedicated hosts and co-hosts, and would love for you to consider joining the fun!  Co-Hosts are welcome on a temporary basis (usually a month), while Hosts make a more ongoing commitment.  :)  Swing by here to express interest and ask any questions!

Now time for the new stuff!

This a link-up for all things funny, fun, encouraging, hopeful, and happy.  That includes free printables, giveaways, and other fun stuff to make us SMILE and start the weekend off on the right foot.

  1. Thanks for mentioning my Gardening post. I loved Jess's commercials and Patrick always has such great travel photos, but I may be biased because I am from the Bay Area and just found out he works in my hometown

  7. Oh, I just love you girls and this party and I've been a bit slack these last couple of weeks (or have just lost my sense of humour) so I haven't been linking up. The best I can do this week to link up anything 'bovine' related is how to reuse ice cream containers! That's the best I got! Catch you next week lovely ladies.

  8. I can't decide which cow I like best - the one on the couch or the one with the car stuck on her head! Patrick's posts are always so fun to read - I feel like I'm on a trip out there whenever I visit his page!
