Hello, Friday, and hello friends!
I've been a little off-radar lately, dealing with getting back into the swing of reality after two weeks of vacation fun, working on unpacking and settling into a new city, dealing with insurance stuff and getting our car fixed after the break-in last week... not to mention the general awfulness every time I turn on the news. :(
Ugh. Reality is lame, y'all!
In honor of cow appreciation day tomorrow, let's have a few laughs and try to focus on what is good, and beautiful, and funny instead!
...like the sweetest, cuddliest cow ever!
Or, on the flip side, the sketchiest cow ever...
Don't quit your Day-Dream, Bessie!! The world is your oyster, girl.
Now on to the link-up! :D
Featured Post from Last Week:
In a fun twist, since we now have four hosts we will also have FOUR FEATURES.... but you will have to go check out the other three blogs to see if you were featured there! ;)
As promised, I have LOTS of features this week, to make up for my lack of feature lately!
First off, my pal Erin over at Stay at Home Yogi, with her post Welcome to the Summer of Self Love. Erin is an awesome, honest blogger, and I love her passion for making life better and prioritizing the things she values. I hope this summer is one of health, growth and joy for her!
Oh. my. goodness. This collection of hilarious British TV commercials courtesy of Jess over at Babi a Fi had me laughing out loud! Do yourself a favor and go over and have some laughs... and find out something unusual about a certain old fashioned name that means something awkward in the UK (well, it sort of does in the US too, but it's awkwarder in the UK for sure...) while you're at it. ;P
Patrick over at Adventures in Weseland always has such fascinating photos of the events he attends and the places he travels -- I really enjoyed his post entitled Downtown Hayward Summer Street Party. It looks like it was a blast, with lots of great people-watching!
Audrey at Munofore's A Gardener's Midsummer Nightmare is hysterical! All the gardeners out there are sure to relate to her vehement confrontation with "the scourge of tomato gardeners everywhere: Manduca quinquemaculata"!!

Thanks for mentioning my Gardening post. I loved Jess's commercials and Patrick always has such great travel photos, but I may be biased because I am from the Bay Area and just found out he works in my hometown
ReplyDeleteAppreciate you linking to Book Wino this week and for inviting others into your party. Thanks for hosting! See you next week.
ReplyDeleteAll of them are cute and especially the first one. Make yourself right at home.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ☺
Wow, thanks so much for the feature. That put a huge smile on my face. I decided to share this week an an oldie, it is some artifacts some a local milk company. I think it fits in with the cow theme.
ReplyDeleteThanks again, thanks for hosting and have a wonderful weekend.
HAHA!! Those cow jokes were great!
ReplyDeleteKeep us updated about the results of your break in, and how you're settling in!
Happy Weekend!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting :)
Oh, I just love you girls and this party and I've been a bit slack these last couple of weeks (or have just lost my sense of humour) so I haven't been linking up. The best I can do this week to link up anything 'bovine' related is how to reuse ice cream containers! That's the best I got! Catch you next week lovely ladies.
ReplyDeleteAnne xx
I can't decide which cow I like best - the one on the couch or the one with the car stuck on her head! Patrick's posts are always so fun to read - I feel like I'm on a trip out there whenever I visit his page!
