Can I let you all in on a secret?

I'm writing a book.

Well, that's not really the secret, y'all already know I'm working on a novel... two actually.  One historical fiction and one fantasy / sci fi... I switch back and forth depending on how I'm feeling.  I like to keep things complicated interesting, haha!

The "secret" book is one I'm planning to self-publish, as an ebook.

It's an expanded, "remastered," step-by-step guide to creating a confident, happy, effortless capsule wardrobe.

Because, as it would turn out, there are lots of people interested in just that topic!  My posts about finding your own style and curating your closet into a minimalist collection of art have been quite popular. I'm linking to them, but honestly now that I've written my ebook it feels like showing people a rough draft... there are still just good ideas jumbled up in there, but the readers are missing a lot of awesome new material, and it could be oh-so-much shinier. So... check out those posts if you're curious, but stay posted for the "shinier" ebook, coming really soon!

In the interim, I've been working on some printable typographic inspirational quotes that will be included as a free gift with purchase of my ebook... and I accidentally found myself on quite a "make free printables!!" kick.  ;P

...which turned out to be PERFECT timing for our #FridayFrivolity theme this week, "favorite quotes"! I love quotes, so I can't wait to see what Munofore, Syncopated Mama, and Babi a Fi will be sharing -- be sure to stop by each host's site for even more great content and features!

So, I have two new, inspirational, motivational quotes for you today, that I personally love.  I did them with a couple of different designs / color themes in the backgrounds, so you could pick and choose what you liked... or just go with the plain and simple word-art version and save ink.

Either way, I hope you like them!  And if you're wondering about the third printable, shown in the middle of the gallery wall image above, you can find that freebie here.

I've gotten weird about not wanting my content to be stolen (how unreasonable of me!) so the best way I could figure to share these printables is via a download link to dropbox...

In return, I would really love it if you would consider signing up for my blog updates via email!  I promise to keep your inbox full of fun and funnies, style inspiration and deals, book and movie reviews, and lots of other boredom-devastating goodness!  If you're not having fun within a week, you can always unsubscribe... but I don't think you will! ;P

Here's the link to download the free inspirational printables!  If the whole file name isn't visible, hover your mouse above each link to see which one you're downloading.  And hopefully I don't really need to say this, but please respect the terms of use outlined in each file.  Enjoy!  :)

  26. What cute, yet inspirational word art. I really love using words to decorate. :) My favorite is the shell must break before the bird can fly. So on point.

  27. I love the second one about it taking the same amount of work to make yourself strong or miserable. I had a good chuckle there. I'm looking forward to your books. I know that I am always trying to eliminate clothing by repurposing them into other things.
